Breathes in, breathes out
Breathes in, breathes out
Astaughfirullahalazim... Why is there so much anger in me?
Faiz, Izyan and I were just talking about this the other day. 'People who are not worth our time and shall be shamelessly ignored'. Didn't think it will ever happen to me, but not for long, it just happened. I officially have a group of people under my list.
My mum, my brother and Zac warned me a couple of times but I simply ignore them for I thought they knew nothing. I'm sorry, you're so right. They are so not worth my time.
I need sugar boost NOW :(

HEY LADIES! HAHA that's assuming my blog readers are all ladies. If you're a guy, just assume you are one then :P
Many, many apologies for the lack of updates cause I'm pretty busy and most of the time lazy. That explains why my workload seems to be neverending that I kind of lost hope in myself. Lost hope as in pessimistic that I will be able to catch up on whatever I am lagging. This habit of mine never changed since the start of undergraduate days and what's worst, I got through each semester thinking that everything will go just fine even without catching up on the readings (which yeah, quite true), so it kinda have a spiral effect on the following semesters. And look, I'm here now so haaa, whatever.
Just last week, my family and I made a trip down to Arab Street after days of pestering my mum to bring me there. I've got a plan actually, which is to hunt down for cheap, nice shawls (:
One of the many colours that I bought. Received many positive comments so far, looks like I'm gonna stick to this style for now (:
Actually I was influenced by a friend of mine who just started to wear a hijab recently. She's into shawls and I kinda liked the way she looks. Like fashionably casual without trying too hard. So I started digging out her secrets (heh heh) about where she bought her shawls and everything. So just to share, it's sold at just $2 - $2.50 per shawl at Bussorah Street. Most of the shops there sell it for 4 for $10, but if you walk further in, you'll find a shop which sells at merely $2. Really cheap, really easy to wear (less than 2 mins) but maximum pleasure. Cheyy! HAHA!
For those of you who wants to try on one, here's a quick tutorial for you. This is the style I used for the above pictures (:
Or, if you have more time, perhaps you may want to try this. The girl's so beautiful, sharp features and all and I think she invented this style herself. Awesome I tell you! But personally I don't know whether I would want to use this style cause I'll feel insecure if I don't use pins to secure the shawl. I'm sucha rough person, one move and I think my whole shawl will be destroyed. Heh.
And as a result, my old tudungs are still not ironed and left stranded on my bed.
Cause you know why? You don't need to iron the shawls at all! Really useful for people like me who hates to iron.
Haha, okay I'll iron soon but just don't know when...
Okay signing off!

Why didn't anyone tell me that Avatar was that good? If not for Zac who insisted and forced me to watch the movie, I think I just missed one hell of a gem. My eyes were literally glued to the screen that I didn't realise my friend was eating Steakhouse Burger beside me during the movie. Popcorns, drinks, heck! I just wanna know what happens next! Haha. We watched the 3D version and damn, I just love the whole storyline, graphics and all. Amazing... And I think I made a wish too during that scene where Jake Sully begged the ancestors for help at Eywa. Yoohoo, anyone heard me? ;)
IPhone madness I know. HAHA. I was hungry so we head down to 313@Somerset for a quick dinner at LJS and did some shopping too! (: I just realised one thing...
LHS: A picture taken before I went for facial treatment. That's a face smacked with lotsa concealer, powder and many other products just to cover the zits and blemishes on my face. Heh, I think that picture is way too small... Click on it and you'll see that my skin tone is uneven and there were too many breakouts.
RHS: A recent picture after a few facial appointments. Not even a drop of concealer, just compact powder and a tint of blusher. YEY!
It's a lie if I say I don't have breakouts anymore. I do. But now the tendency of having one is lesser. It's so true that one's complexion determines one's level of confidence. Haaa, no wonder I've been stepping out of my house in heels recently (:
Sucha expensive splurge but it's so worth it. Try IsisDoc, they are GOOD! Are you in?

| supposedly the last day of school holidays, not for me! |
[Jan. 4th, 2010|02:38 pm] |
School? What school? Ooh yeah, it's the first day of school today. Aww, it sucks waking up so early in the morning yes? Going through class rules, getting to know each other's names and gossiping about how you hate your new form teacher. Or worse, you just hate your new seating arrangement, you just have to start the semester by seating beside some super idiotic guy. Oh memories...
And what we undergrads are doing? Still having our final week of holidays! Wonderful!
You know what's the best part of going out on the last day of holidays? Not a single student seen anywhere! I was out with familia to Sentosa yesterday and the place was filled with no one else but tourists. Cool, that means comparatively lesser people.
So we just had to blend in and act like one. Here's how.

#1 Take a look around Singapore's very own Underwater World! Snapping pictures away, cursing people who just refuse to budge to give way to other people who wanna take pictures too and going around the travelator 3 times! My mum's favourite line, "Ikan ni kalau masak asam pedas sedap ni! Punya besar!" And yesterday was the last day where locals can enjoy 30% off regular priced tickets. Great deal! After which we went to the souvenir shop to buy keychains. HAHA, typical tourists.
#2 Watch every free show while indulging on Cornetto's Chocolate ice-cream! The dolphins and sealions were so cute, I just love to see how they wave to the audience and dance to the music! Awesome job, trainers (:
#4 Have dinner by the beach! But apparently our view were obstructed by the many-many coconut trees there so I felt more like as if I was having dinner in the middle of a forest rather than beside the beach. Heh. Oh, Delifrance is having this New Year's special, 2 sandwiches for $10. Cheap right! Okay, we can't really run from our Singaporean traits. Look for discounts only! Not so 'touristic' afterall. HAHA. #5 Rush back home to catch MANU's match! What the hell, they lost. Okay done, need to clean up my house cause my friends are coming over! Chiao! fashaeriza |

| lets sing together! |
[Jan. 2nd, 2010|01:19 pm] |
My favourite karaoke song ever! (: Super catchy, let's sing along! Well I hope everyone's first hours of twenty-ten had been good. As for myself, no party of any sorts, just stayed at home with beloved familia since I wasn't at home most of the time the past few days. Treated them for dinner at Al-Azhar, had some quality family time and that's that. Yeah boring I know but I think I should learn to stay at home and not go out too much. It's not healthy for the wallet you know. HAHA. Oh yes, how can I forget my dearest IPhone, she's been accompanying me 24/7. IPhone's really something man. (: The last few days of twenty-onine were spent playing bowling! How I love that sport. I started playing around 10 years ago with my brothers as my coaches. Haha, it wasn't smooth sailing at all I tell you... During my first time playing bowling, I totally lost count on the number of times the ball went into the longkang. And at that time, I was using a 6 pounds ball. Now, okaylah 8 pounds ball, not much of a difference anyway. HAHA.
The shoes matched my scarf! HAHA! Oh by the way, that's so far one of the better looking bowling shoes compared to the other bowling centres. At least it doesn't look Ronald McDonald-ish.
HAA! Our points sucked big time. It didn't even cross 100. Such a shame considering that, what, I have been playing bowling for 10 years? HAHA. Eh spare me, I have not been playing for God knows how long. And if you noticed, I suck at strikes, I'm a spare kinda person. Woops! AichaJazmeen's way better than me!
Yey! I love the company! ((:

Then it was bowling again but with another geng, with Aicha, Iffy and Izzy! There should be more people but heh heh, some people are just too busy. And if you noticed, we didn't even bother to take a picture of our scores cause it was really bad! I so hate the bowling alley at Marina Square, the alleys were so rusty and there were not enough balls that we had to share ONE 8 pounds ball for all four of us. Geez. Not to mention the technical faults along the way just cause our throws were too gentle. But it's okay, some got a strike when it's supposed to be a spare and some got a spare when it's supposed to be 7-2. Great time nevertheless! Eh, I think I should stop hanging out with AichaJazmeen already. Tak habes2, macam takde orang lain. HAHA! *Peace* I wanna try something new this year but I'm so afraid that I'll fail. Like you know, motivation level issues. HAHA. Nevermind, I'll update you soon if I happen to try one. Ciao Sorella Mia! fashaeriza |

Ungu's latest single from their latest album, Penguasa Hati Dilema Cinta * SQUEALS AT THE SIGHT OF PASHA!* Seberapa salahkah diriku Hingga kau sakiti aku begitu menusukku Inikah caramu membalas Aku yang selalu ada saat kau terluka
Seberapa hinanya diriku Hingga kau ludahi semua yang ku beri untukmu Tak ada satu pun perasaan yang mampu membuatku begitu terluka
Namun ku terlanjur mencintai dirimu Terlambat bagiku pergi darimu Bagiku terlalu indah perasaan itu Tak mudah untukku menjauh darimu
Telah ku coba segala cara ‘Tuk bahagiakan kamu Merebut hatimu Namun tak semudah yang ku bayangkan Bila kau tak inginkan ku ’tuk di sisimu
Tak pernah kurasakan sebelumnya Menginginkan dirinya hingga ku tak kuasa Meyakini hatiku bahwa ku mampu berlalu
Namun ku terlanjur mencintai dirimu Terlambat bagiku pergi darimu Bagiku terlalu indah perasaan itu Tak mudah untukku menjauh darimu fashaeriza

| loved you 2009, but I think I'm gonna love 2010 more |
[Jan. 1st, 2010|05:21 pm] |
It's always nice to take pictures in 3's. The best part is that one person will always be at the mercy of the other two. Joking and criticising one another will be so often, that what makes a great hang out! At other times, when you finally found that one person whom you can call your bestfriend, it's best to just hang out in 2's cause that's when all the juiciest gossips will spill. Plus, it's so hard to get the best seats at the best eateries sometimes so limiting to 2 really helps!
Not the best picture of me but oh wells.. Twenty-oh-nine was a bit too thrilling for me, but still too fun to resist. The great friends found, travelling around the world and the bitter sweet memories that just got me stronger than before and just move on with what's left in me. Thanks to yang Maha Kuasa, for all the help and strength you've given me to overcome every single challenge with ease. Me around the world in 2009, In Bali, Malacca & Egypt
Insyaallah, 2010 will be much better. AMIN! fashaeriza |
