I'm home alone again! Waddahell... Especially when it's Saturday night, I'm not supposed to be alone! Boo!
But it's okay, I've started Gossip Girl marathon and many2 other drama series coming soon! I know I'm so lagging behind, Gossip Girl premiers eons ago and hurrhurr, this girl here just started watching. What's new seh, I only started watching Project Runway religiously last year and only got to know Lady Gaga exists when her 'Love Game' song makes her debut. Superrr lagging, but I'm confident that I'm superrr up to date when it comes to Indonesian songs! Eh, you can't have the best of both worlds right... (:
Hari Raya Haji celebrations have been good (: Just finished visiting today.. Like you must be thinking, waahh this girl celebrate Hari Raya Haji like Hari Raya Aidilfitri seh! Well yeah, thats our tradition and I like it that way cause I can meet my beloved cousins!! It's been so long! (:

We purposely chose a song (forgot the name of the song) which NO ONE can reach those notes. So the bet goes like this, if you can finish that whole song without losing your voice, you will get free SUP TULANG, courtesy of my brother, Abang Ashrin. But apparently no one could and so my brother was spared. HAHA.. Smart bro, smart!

WOOO! Exam's sooo yesterday! ((:
I have a confession. I totally suck at Guitar Heroes hard stage! I nailed medium, so I thought of trying something new. Hard's really hard seh! HAHA! I gotta get used to sliding my fingers across the five chords. Now I'm experimenting with Guitar Hero World Tour. To me, that's the easiest among all other versions. After nailing this, I might try Metallica's version. Haa,definitely a pro in the making cause I'm no guitarist. Guitar Hero is my first experience with guitars. (:
You know why I've got the urge to try the hard stage now? Cause I saw the brother of the 3rd Best in Singapore playing Guitar Hero at Orchard Central yesterday. Wanna know what stage he's playing? EXPERT WITH 2X SPEED! I can just die on the spot seh. HAHA!
So yeap, I went town with bestfriend Zac yesterday straight after my last paper! The paper's cool, I thought it was much better that the other two. What's better, my friend was feeling so generous yesterday and he paid for our sandwich lunch at Coffee Bean and waffles at Gelare cause its Tuesday! Catchup on each other's lives, talked ALOT and went shopping around town (:

Okay, I was that happy... HAHA! See, my bestfriend's damn generous right? I got the whole large waffle to myself and he bought another one for himself. Ya Allah, murahkanlah rezeki kawanku ini... AMIN!
Of all Christmas decorations, this one totally caught my eye. Super HUGE LV bag right outside Taka. They are expanding their store and this is just an advert actually. Just how often do you see this super huge bag along Orchard Road? Haha.
Take your pick people! I don't know which one to choose cause I thought it all looked nice? HAHA. Oh I'm going somewhere far this December and thus the reason why I'm looking around for nice and affordable coats (:
All of them are from New Look, a store in Ion. I like the first one cause its leather, the brown's damn sexy and it costs $123. A little bit pricey but I totally dig that one. The second's one cheaper, $99, wool material and it's black. I love it cause it makes me look slimmer cause of its long length (: Plus it's not too thick, totally comfortable. The third, I so totally love the belt and the buttons at my shoulders. It all fits in so nicely which costs only $79! (: And again, its black! I lovee! My friend told me to get the third one but I'm still so undecided.. Geez...
Okay now, rewind back to last Sunday. This is a MUST post!
Went to Botanic Gardens! I sooo looove that place now! So many beautiful orchids and other flowers all around. Ahhhh, I so wanna go there again!
And this is just super sweet... My mum's birthday was last week but my dad has yet to get for her anything. So my mum and I were just eating junkfood at the benches area while my dad decided to take a look at the souvenir shops. My dad got out of the shop with a present in his hand, just for my mum. It's a Risis gold orchid brooch. It's really pretty, with pearls and small diamonds. Totally sweet right? I'm so proud to have him as my dad (: Wahh! That's super long.. Okay, I'll post again soon. Hey! It's me again... It's raining so hard this afternoon, thank god I'm at home (: Feel so sleepy all over again, eventhough I woke up at noon today. Oops, secret's revealed. I'm dead beat yesterday laaa.. Soon you'll know why.
Had two papers yesterday and erm, I shall not comment. It wasn't a breeze but I think I've tried. I don't know whether it's due to my complacency of not studying hard enough or the tutors are just plain mad as to set such a paper. But the good thing is, I survived two papers yesterday. Mind's so tired, backaches all over and the only thing that was on my head was to sleep.
Rushed home and saw my mum already cooking for dinner. And she's cooking on her birthday. Like so sad right? Hahaha, she's the one who insisted cause she didnt want to celebrate her birthday outside. Plus, no one's at home and so she just had to cook. But I'm no baddy okay.. Rushed home straight after my papers, got changed and straightaway to the kitchen to help my mum. Tell me I'm sucha darling.. HAHA!
We finally managed to complete all the cooking by 7. Ahh, this is when all the fun stuffs start! I evolved into an evil tyrant and forced my mum to stay in her room until I call her out. At the meantime, asked her to washup and change into nice clothes. There's a reason for that guys, take a chill pill. Hehe.
  This is the reason why I had to quarantine my mum. Decorate the whole living room in Brown & Pink this time (:

And what's a birthday party without some games, right? It's just a simple game, 'How much do you know Ibu?' So the 4 people were split into two groups, while my mum became the judge and me the host. HEHE. So I've prepared questions about my mum like, 'What's the recipe to make mum's coffee?" or "What's mum's fave food?" Serious, it's not easy... Even though we are living under the same roof, sometimes we don't even know each other's likes and dislikes. But family's damn cool, they managed to answer almost all of the questions.
The night's great, a night full of craziness and lotsa catching-up and most importantly, delicious food to indulge on. I love family gatherings like this :) Thus the reason why I put in great effort to actually plan every single birthdays and hopefully make it a memorable one for them.
Well, I'm just sharing this so maybe you could use th same idea for your family member's birthday perhaps? I wanna know how you celbrate it too, who knows maybe it's useful for my family's future celebrations (:

Hey all (:
I was bloghopping hoping for a good read but I guess everyone's too caught up with revisions now. So does it mean that I'm not revising? Haa, nah, just taking a break. I just completed two topics of a module, got bored and here I am.
What have I been doing? Haa, nothing much. Other than my daily revisions, been going out for dinners with familia since my mum's lazy to cook, especially on weekends. Seems like she's declaring an unofficial 5 day work week for herself too. Haha. So today I had rice with yesterday's dalcha and nuggets. Just heat2 abit, fry2 abit and that's my lunch, while my parents are enjoying their nasi briyani over at a friend's wedding. Haiyerr, that's what happens when you're all alone at home. Hafta be independent ):
Last Thursday, for the FIRST TIME, went to JB's Jusco with familia. Yeah, like you're gotta be kidding me right? No, really! It was really my virgin experience there. God, the place's really huge eh? It's like walking around Vivo, with lotsa eateries, a big supermarket and even classy shops like MNG and Topshop. But sucks though cause I went there with no money, not even my handphone. So I was even poorer than the locals. Heh. I mean, I didn't expect that place to be really WHOA, cause afterall it's only JB. Yes yes, okay I was wrong. Heh.

It's really useful to know by hard all the food prices in Singapore. Cause only then you will know whether it's worth it to eat at JB. So my family decided to eat at the Manhattan Fish Market for our lunch cause the Seafood Platter for Two is only RM49! (Compared to SG's $38) It's really cheap cause the soup's already in the set and the drink's free flow. Awesomely good deal!
After which we walked around and then went to Secret Recipe for our tea time! Haha, basically we were just pigging out there. Each of us ordered the tea time set which costs RM7.90. It consists of one large cake of your choice and a hot/cold tea. No pictures cause as I've said, I didn't bring my phone ): I so love Malaysia for its super cheap food! Gotta make another trip there probably after exams! (:
One tip though, only go down to JB on Weekdays before 5pm. No jams to and fro at Woodlands Checkpoint and Jusco's not as packed. Easier to browse shops and all. What's best, you can also have the whole restaurant to yourselves. Serious, we were the only family in the Manhattan Fish Market restaurant. Cool right...
Yesterday, went to my buddy's brother wedding reception at Tampines. Yeah, Tampines, all the way in the East. SUPER FAR! Thank god for Rima and Rini, they made really good company! Thanks Zac for inviting and super happy for your brother too! Kamu punya bila lagi ya? Nggak sabar ni mahu lihat kamu kpak bing bing! HAHAHA!
  The beautiful couple finally arrived :) / With my newfound friends, Rima and Rini I love to see newlyweds. So blissfully happy, so pretty, so handsome, so perfecto. Speaking of which, my brother's wedding is in 6 mths time! Oh dear oh dear! So many things we have yet to do!

 Awesomely pretty, right? I think the trend now is to customise and not just buy any other cake from the bakery.
This brownies tastes really good and look so pretty as well! From Posh @ Dhoby Ghaut, $28.80 for the whole set (: So it started like this.. Fetched Aisah at her place to collect all the presents then off to school for our Maths test. You know what? I think there's something between Aisah and dangdut. Cause the moment she sat in the car, Inul's song was playing on the radio. GOYANG INUL OI! HAHAHA! So freaking coincidence. Aisah, I think you should become a dangdut singer la, not teacher. Wrong profession. HAHA!
Anyway, in the car, we were like thinking real hard about what stories to tell the birthday girls with so that they won't suspect anything.. But us, being the real smarty us, we came up with a really good idea.
After Maths test, Saras and I vanished to prepare the cake. Haha, you wouldnt wanna know how fast I walked to the carpark to collect the prezzies and cake seh. Cause I only had 10 minutes to prepare everything! Not bad, I still have stamina and thanks to Saras too! Heh. While the rest tried to come up with stories to distract the birthday girls. So down the staricase they went and SURPRISE!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! (:

Exam's starting next week! Wednesday to be precise. And it's not funny cause I have two papers on that day, English in the morning and Maths at around 3? IDK. See, die la die, I still don't know what time the paper starts. How's revision for me? HAHA, that's my answer for you. Figure out the conversational implicature :)
English and Maths.. Make it sounds as if I'm a primary school kid having exams soon. No no, let's be more professional. Language & Use and Number Topics. Better. Haha! Why so soon, you may ask... Well, let me just make you hate me even more. I end on the 24th Nov. I know some of you haven't even started! Teehee, go study if you don't want me to irritate you even more.
  
Went to eat sushi again on Sunday at SSC Hei Sushi! Remember my previous post which I talked about my Carousel trip? Yeah, I ate Sashimi and Sushi but my fave sushi flavour wasn't available! They only served it for dinner and not for high-tea. It was major bummer for me cause I saw them preparing the baby squid sushi while I was walking out of Carousel ):
But it's okay, went with bro and kak Riana the day after! My mum didn't cook cause she was out with my dad to watch Sharifah Aini's concert. I was soo hungry, survived only on Maggi noodles for lunch, so I had two plates of baby squid sushi all to myself! Happy happy girl (: Okay, I ate other stuffs too like tofu wrap sushi, spicy salmon sushi and salmon sushi. Haha, so many salmon, I can imagine them swimming inside my stomach after that meal. HAHA! And I just realised that I have sucha big mouth cause I can actually stuff that one whole sushi inside my mouth one shot. But I have to right, if not the baby squid will drop la and it will be a whole big mess... You try la biting that sushi into half, I'm sure the rice and the squid will spill everywhere.
My bro's so damn greedy... He ate 5 plates while i ate only 3. No wonder he looks like a laughing buddha now! HAHA! :P
After which, grabbed my fave Java Chip from Starbucks to keep myself awake to watch soccer and complete my last assignment. Soccer was a disappointment, and assignment was a killer! Glad my groupmates and I managed to pul through. Hope all the sweat and effort will be paid off later! (:

I bet no one would have thought that I'm actually rushing for assignments and revising for tests at the rate I'm going out everyday. I think slack too much? Haha. And here I am still typing away, updating my lj more often than usual. Well, when you've got something to share, why not spend a minute or two right? (:
Yesterday was spent at Vivo with AichaJazmeen to buy lotsa presents. Shall not name any here, for fear they chance upon this space. Heh. No surprise factor, no fun! IDK whether to love or hate November. Cause I'm officially broke now after buying all the presents. But then, it felt good looking at all the happy and surprised faces of my loved ones. Balanced I guess?
By the end of the day, I was damn shagged to even start doing work. So I thought I needed caffeine. Told parents and va va voom! Off we went to WCP (West Coast Park) at 10pm!
Stayed there till 1am, after which, something thrilling happened. Here's why.
Everyone's super high, and I was wide awake. Shouldn't have told my brother that cause soon after, he gave me his car keys. It's a freaking MANUAL! God, do you know just how long since I last drove a manual car? More than a year! But it's already 1am, West side.. So there shouldn't be any problem cause there wont be many cars around. Fine, I drove. Starting's really suck, no confidence at all but glad I still remember how to drive manual and soon I got the hang of it! Okay chill, I'm a pro driver (as if. HAHA!) until...
There's a road block at the next junction. Ohmygoodness no. In my head I was like, "Where the hell is my wallet?! I need my driving licence!" And do you know what? Both police officers are my brother's friend. What the hell! They didn't even bother looking at me, all the attention was given to my brother instead. Freaking swine, anti-climax to the max!
That's not all... K my driving's getting worst cause of the unnecessary panic mode I was in. At red light, okay changed back to gear 1, clutched in and getting ready for green. At green, pressed the accelerator but I didnt release the clutch! Can you imagine the noise?!?!?! Guess what car's beside me... Honda Civic! Apparently that driver mistook it as a racing challenge and he speed all the way leaving me feeling like a bloody pathetic paiseh turtle. Wrong signal, sorry! ):
Ahhh.. Manual... Why do manual cars even exist?
Today, went to Carousel for Abang Ashrin's Advance Birthday Celebration! Yey!
